A lot of Payson's transportation problems begin here on the Beeline Highway as Valley residents make their way to Payson on summer weekends.
The Payson Transportation Study is developing a 20-year plan for transportation improvements within the Town of Payson.
Please join representatives of the Town, the Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT), and Jacobs Engineering at a public open house on Tuesday, Aug. 10 from 4:30 - 6:30 p.m. at the Payson Public Library to learn about preliminary findings and recommendations for town streets and state highways. The public is encouraged to participate in the discussion of Payson’s transportation future and to offer input.
For additional information regarding the project please contact Bill Pederson, ADOT Community Relations Project Manager, at bpederson@azdot.gov or 602-712-8069. To submit comments, please send them by e-mail to Sunny Bush at Katherine_bush@urscorp.com or by mail c/o URS Corporation, 7720 N. 16th Street, Suite 100, Phoenix, AZ 85020. All comments should be received by August 24, 2010.
