Location: Southwest and north slopes of the Pinal Mountains

Fuels: Grass and understory, Ponderosa pine, and mature chapparal

Summary: Fire specialists will continue to monitor fire activity and perform firing operations to avoid undesirable levels of burn intensity ahead of the fire. An increase in size is expected today due to hot and dry weather conditions combined with firing operations. Moderate fire growth to the north is expected.
