Mesa del Caballo placed on Stage 4 restrictions

Effective Monday morning, July 5, Mesa del Caballo was placed on STAGE 4 water conservation restrictions. The water conservation conditions exist when water production or storage is greater than 50 percent of its capacity but less than 60 percent of its capacity.

STAGE 4 water conservation conditions require MANDATORY WATER CONSERVATION!

Prohibited uses of water under STAGE 4 conditions include the following:

(a) All irrigation of outdoor lawns, trees, shrubs, or any plant life
(b) Washing vehicles of any kind
(c) Outdoor dust control or cleaning uses of any kind
(d) All drip or irrigation systems
(e) Filling of swimming pools, spas, ornamental fountains or pools
(f) Construction water
(g) Restaurant patrons will be served water only upon request
(h) ANY OTHER water intensive use

Payson Water Co. will be changing accompanying water conservation signs in conjunction with this required Notice. Violations of the prohibited uses of water under STAGE 4 conditions include the following reconnection penalties:

(1) First offense $300
(2) Second offense $600
(3) Third offense $1200

In conjunction with the Company’s tariff customers violating the prohibited uses of water under STAGE 4 conditions are subject to disconnection with warning.

STAGE 4 water conditions are SERIOUS MANDATORY water conservation conditions and REQUIRE customer compliance subject to the application of fees and penalties. It should be noted that in recent weeks several customers have received the requisite water conservation warnings and are IMMEDIATELY subject to service disconnection without further warning.
