Last Thursday, Candyce, Payson’s rising Country music artist, made it to the final round of the Lone Butte Casino's "Lucky Break" Singing Competition in Chandler.
Fans have cheered her on to the Grand Finale, which will take place on Dec. 16.
The first place winner of the competition will receive $5,000 in cash, two tickets to the Grammys, and a chance to sing for Nashville or Las Vegas music executives.
