Politicians' first responsibility is to the citizens

Dear Jim:
We will soon be saying "adios" to Ann Kirkpatrick, primarily because she didn't listen to her constituency about the deeply flawed Health Care Reform Bill that she voted for! Not listening to the citizens of our country is a trait she shares with many of the Representatives who will be joining her soon, and vacating Washington! They all found it easier to follow the Party line, rather than listening to the ones who put them into office!

I hope her replacement, Paul Gosar, will learn from this lesson, because whether Democrat or Republican, it is time for all politicians to remind themselves that their FIRST responsibility is to the citizens of their state and country, and any allegiance to their party is secondary! But... if he does forget this, then... we voters will remind him at the next election!
