TCCA presents Celtic Blaze on Valentine's Day

NASHVILLE, TN – Celtic Blaze, featuring Stephanie Cadman, will bring their fast paced, contemporary take on the music and dance of Canada’s Celtic tradition to the Payson High School Auditorium on Monday, Feb. 14 at 7 p.m.

This is the fifth performance in the Tonto Community Concert Association’s 2010-2011 concert season. Single tickets are $30 (if seating is available). Children and youth, grade 12 and under, will be admitted free when accompanied by a ticket holding adult. Created by feature performer Stephanie Cadman, Celtic Blaze draws on her 20 year career as an award winning “triple threat,” Dancer / Fiddler / Vocalist. Stephanie has appeared in such diverse productions as “Bowfire” – the highly successful fiddle / dance spectacular, the Broadway National Tour of “42nd Street,” and solo tap and fiddle appearances with renowned orchestras such as the Seattle, Portland and Edmonton Symphony Orchestras. Notably, she won the top solo female honors at the 1998 World Tap Dance Championships, in addition to many other titles and awards internationally.

The Celtic Blaze band includes piano, guitar, violin/mandolin, bass and percussion.

The Tonto Community Concert Association is committed to bringing quality entertainment to the Rim Country through an annual concert series and support of the fine arts in Payson schools. This series is intended as an enriching cultural experience for the people of Payson and those in surrounding communities.
