Human medications, including dropped pills, poisoned more pets in the U.S. last year than any other toxic substance, The Arizona Republic reported in an article in the Tuesday, Feb. 1 Arizona Living section.
The Associated Press article was based on a list of the top 10 toxics released by the American Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA).
The rest of the list: insecticides, rodenticides, people food, veterinary medications, chocolate, household toxics, plants, herbicides and outdoor toxics like antifreeze and fertilizers.
