Yvonne Ayers served as nurse for three decades

1938 - 2010

Yvonne Ayers passed away on Oct. 6, 2010 in Payson, Ariz. She was born to Cledus Vernon Pruett and Anna Laura (Rawson) Pruett on February 13, 1938 in Phoenix, Ariz.

Yvonne is survived by her husband Bill Ayers of Payson; daughters, Deborah L. Morse of Kennewick, Washington and Sherri L. Ayers of Globe, Ariz.; sons, Glenn (Renee’) Morse of Winnemucca, Nev., Stanley V.(Aly) Morse of Gilbert, Ariz., David (Kandis) Ayers of Cottonwood, Ariz. and Steven R. Ayers of Globe; sisters, Joyce (Ken) Collins of Kearny, Ariz. and Doris (Dean) Smith of Globe; 14 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Ayers was an R.N. for thirty years.  She, at the request of Catholic Social Services, establishing Gila Home Care. Mrs. Ayers also worked at Gila County Health Dept. and Payson Hospital. Mrs. Ayers was a proud parent of her children and grandchildren and will be missed by her family and friends.

At her request there will be no services. Donations may be made to Hospice Compassus, P.O. Box 305, Payson, AZ 85541.
