Vocalist Zephryn Conte was the featured musician at Sunday's Mothers Day jazz concert at Community Presbyterian Church. Backing her were Claudia Bloon on Piano, Steve Douglas on bass and Gerry Reynolds on drums. Local clarinetist Bob Tarallo sat in for two numbers, backing Conte on one and being featured on the other. MC Bing Brown, who provided the photos, reports that the crowd loved Conte, who was making her first appearance in Payson.
