Go see PAL show despite political ramifications

Because we support the arts, we want you to know that the Payson Art League's ARToberFEST is this weekend, October 21-23 at Mazatzal Hotel & Casino Event Center.  The show opens Friday from 5-8 p.m. and continues from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. We would be making a huge deal out of this event complete with color photos except PAL hasn't sent us anything for fear of offending the Roundup which apparently prints their brochures.  Too bad that art has to suffer (we do have 5,000 readers), but get out and see the show anyway.  And just to get you in the mood, here's a photo of local artist Jay Kemp from a previous show back when artists were fearless.
