Challengers pull no punches at SV debate
The incumbents decided not to participate in the Star Valley Town Council candidates debate held Tuesday evening at Star Valley Southern Baptist Church. But the challengers for mayor and two council seats came out swinging. Topics included the water IGA between the town and Payson, photo speed enforcement, animal control and economic development. Candidates who participated were Randy White (speaking above), Paty Henderson and Chris Benjamin. The event was co-sponsored by the Rim Country Gazette Blog, the Mogollon Connection (the new newspaper coming to town this week) and KRIM-FM radio. Watch for Connection Editor Matt Brabb's account of the debate in the Connection and here on the blog.
