Gila Community College is offering two new courses this coming Fall Semester - ENG 217 and CMP 151.
Writing
Reflective Essays (ENG217), taught by Jim Keyworth, will include writing biography, autobiography, memoirs and journalism. This course fulfills a general education humanities
and intensive writing requirement. Non-degree seeking students will
also enjoy this opportunity to write with Mr. Keyworth. Class meets
Thursdays 6-8:50 p.m.
Information Technology Essentials (CMP151), taught by Bud Evans, is designed to provide experience with all essential elements
of PC hardware operating systems at the support technician level. Class meets Mondays and Wednesdays 6-7:50 p.m.
Classes begin Aug. 19. Tuition fees for seniors aged 55 and older are now waived.
