“The swing numbers were overflowing with energy and presented with ease and elegance.”

SSS_PRESS_resize Side Street Stutters were formed in 1983 by a group of students at Arizona State University.  Since then the ensemble has firmly established itself as an industry standard bearer, garnering festival appearances, awards and international tours, not to mention their 23 year stint as featured entertainers at Disneyland.  The Strutters have recorded eight albums; their most recent, “Back to Bourbon Street,” celebrates their 25th anniversary with a salute to the roots of jazz and the group’s own foundation.  Their newest project, Shiny Stockings, features the sultry vocals of Meloney Collins.  “Meloney’s sassiness and energy have ignited a new spark for the band,” says clarinetist Vince Verdi, “for me it’s reminiscent of the big band shows in the golden age of jazz.”   All orchestrations are created from within the group, and the live show features a tap dancing trumpeter and their signature humor and repartee.

The Tonto Community Concert Association is committed to bringing quality entertainment to the Rim Country through an annual concert series and support of the fine arts in Payson schools.  This series is intended as an enriching cultural experience for the people of Payson and those in surrounding communities.

Live On Stage, Inc. provides excellent, affordable, entertainment attractions and support services to an American community of concert presenters.  For more information, visit www.LiveOnStage.biz.
