Lane restrictions will be required
on an 11-mile segment of State Route 87, approximately eight miles
north of Pine, beginning Tuesday, April 30 to allow crews to clear
vegetation along the shoulder of the roadway, according to the Arizona
Department of Transportation.
Work will continue daily, Monday to Thursday from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. until May 16.
The
two-lane segment of SR 87 (mileposts 279-290) will be narrowed to one
lane with flaggers directing traffic. Motorists should anticipate up to
10 minute delays.
ADOT
advises drivers to proceed through the work zone with caution, slow
down, and be alert for construction equipment and personnel.
