The 31st annual Labor Day Arts & Crafts Festival (sponsored by the Pine-Strawberry Arts & Crafts Guild) will take place at the Community Center grounds in Pine (just 13 miles north of Payson on Arizona Highway 87, aka the Beeline), on Sept. 3 and 4, 2011.
The hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday. The festival features over 80 arts and craft booths with all original, juried, hand-crafted items by many wonderful Arizona artisans.
There will be lots of food booths, Navajo tacos by the Pine Senior Center, and a pancake breakfast hosted by the Strawberry/Pine Fire Department. There will be clowns, face-painting, and a playground for children. The Arts & Crafts Guild Boutique will be open where visitors can meet local artists and crafters and see their work.
All proceeds from our festivals above the cost of event expenses are donated to non-profit agencies to meet the ever-increasing needs in our community during this difficult economic time.
