If you enjoy watching and photographing wildlife, consider
entering the Arizona Game and Fish Department's annual wildlife calendar
photo contest.
Send in your best three photos of Arizona wildlife via email or
through a file-sharing website. Information and rules are posted at www.azgfd.gov/photocontest. As always, it’s free to enter the contest.
Winning images will be featured in the 2014 wildlife calendar,
which will be published in the November-December 2013 issue of Arizona
Wildlife Views magazine. Cash prizes will be awarded.
So when you're out on vacation this summer, take your camera and
snap away. Whether you’re photographing a herd of majestic elk grazing
in a White Mountains meadow, a colorful Eastern collared lizard basking
on a rock, or a bright red summer tanager perched on a branch, submit
your best work. Your photo could be chosen as a winner.
The contest accepts entries through Aug. 2 at 5 p.m. MST. Prize money is funded through publications sales.
