BREAKING LOCAL NEWS
According to a post on the Mesa del Caballo Blog, Brooke Utilities sold its interests in Payson Water Co., Navajo Water Co., and Tonto Basin Water Co. to JW Water Holdings LLC from Denver, Colo. on May 31. According to the post, the new owner took over and began managing and operating the former water systems on June 1.
An internet search of JW Water Holdings LLC by the Gazette turned up a protected site that requires a password for access (jwwater.net).
Our first question: Wouldn't the sale have to be approved by the Arizona Corporation Commission? Hopefully more later.
