Expect delays on AZ188 by Roosevelt Lake

A pavement maintenance project has begun on SR 188 by Roosevelt Lake. Motorists traveling in that area should anticipate fifteen minute delays while crews repair sections of the roadway.

The project starts just west of the SR 188 and SR 288 junction (milepost 233) and continues west for twenty three miles towards Punkin Center (milepost 256). Work will be done from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday until Sept. 20.  Drivers should expect narrowed traffic lanes and a reduced speed limit with flaggers and pilot vehicles present to guide vehicles through the work zone.

ADOT advises drivers to proceed through the work zones with caution, slow down, and be alert for construction equipment and personnel.

For more information about this project, please contact the project hotline 1.855.712.8530 or email Projects@azdot.gov.
