Payson Ranger Station doing a great job

LETTERLETTERLETTER
Editor:
Over the years the Payson Pro Rodeo Committee and Gary Roberts of our Payson Forest Ranger station have enjoyed a great relationship. Gary participates in both our Spring and August rodeos dedicating time to informing people about our forest and updating fire information.

We want to say a huge thank you to Gary, his district employees and the hot shot crews that keep our area safe from fires here in Rim country. We encourage the people of our communities to drop a note of thanks to let our ranger station know how much we appreciate their dedication and sometimes round the clock efforts to keep the community out of harm’s way. They do a great job, especially in these economic times, with less funding each year.

Our hat’s go off to Gary and our Payson Ranger Crew. We hope that everyone will take an opportunity join us in making sure they all know, we could not do without them.

Gratefully,
The Payson Pro Rodeo Committee

Gary Roberts is a class act. If there were more like him in the Forest Service, we wouldn't have to worry about common sense forest management and protection for the little frogs.
