Going
Home Too Soon
December
14, 2012
By Carrie Backe
She
lay down on
On
her sweet-little-girl
Fragrant
pillow,
Amid
baby dolls and
Floppy
bunnies.
But
before she could
Sleep
She
had to hug
The
fuzzy pink bear
Her
daughter would
Never
outgrow,
And
cry.
She
had to cry
And
cry
And
ask why.
Why
the hell why,
Why
wasn’t she
Coming
home?
