Big jazz weekend in Rim Country

Saturday, January 10, 8 - 12 p.m., the Fossil Creek Gang plays early-era jazz, blues and folk. They are at the Spirit Lounge, Mazatzal  Casino in Payson. Guest guitar vocalist John Darst will be filling in for Dale Knighton. Suzanne Knighton is on bass and vocals, and Gerry Reynolds is on the drums. No cover charge.

Sunday, January 11, 3 p.m., jazz, blues & soul vocalist Renee Patrick performs at the Community Presbyterian Church, 800 West Main Street, Payson. She is joined by pianist Beth Lederman, bassist Mario Mendevil, and drummer Gerry Reynolds. $5 donation.
