McD's worker confronts prez over low wages

Nancy Salgado apparently wasn't satisfied with the budget cheat sheet McDonald's recently handed out to its minimum-wage employees. The 26-year-old mother of two, a cashier for the fast-food giant, was ticketed for trespassing last week during a Union League Club of Chicago meeting.

Her offense: confronting McDonald's USA President Jeff Stratton, who was speaking at the event, by informing him she had worked for his corporation for 10 years at $8.25 per hour (she's never had a raise). "It's really hard for me to feed my two kids and struggle day to day," she reportedly said to Stratton. "Do you think this is fair?"

Salgado, who was ticketed along with six other protesters, says she loves her job, but just wants to be duly compensated for her dedication and hard work — she thinks $15 an hour would be a fairer wage.

"I love interacting with customers. … But it takes a lot of energy, a lot of knowledge, a lot of [multitasking]. I think that's what we're worth. … The CEOS make billions and billions a year. [Why] can't they provide enough for their employees?" [Source]

So, their new slogan should be: "You deserve a (jail) break today ?"

Yep
And they can also raise the rate to $15.00 for one hamburger and fries to plug your arteries.
Then your insurance premiums will go up because they had to do a quadruple bypass on you.
