Chili Supper gives little guys chance to help

Please join PAWS and all of your friends Oct. 23 from 4-7 p.m. at the 16th Annual Chili Supper, an affordable fundraising benefit for Rim Country animals that gives everybody a chance to support our furry friends.

Our generous restaurant community is pitching in as usual to make this a memorable meal.  The chili will be cooked by the Mazatzal Casino’s Cedar Ridge kitchen and garnished with cheese from El Rancho, fresh rolls baked by Gerardo’s Firewood Café, salad by Tiny’s Family Restaurant, and gourmet dressings from Fargo’s Steakhouse.  Side dishes of PAWS homemade macaroni and cheese will be the best ever, and scrumptious desserts will be offered by Barkery Bakery volunteers.  This is truly a community event!

The popular musical duo TROUBLE IN PARADISE will entertain with their unique and lively music.  The Silent Auction is back along with the popular 50/50 Raffle and U-Pic Raffles with great prizes.

The Barkery Boutique will be selling PAWS items, and the excellent Humane Society Cookbook is available again – so it’s time to think about special Christmas gifts!

The funds raised will be used for low-cost, no-cost spay and neuter clinics for Rim Country pets, and to maintain a ‘second chance’ medical fund for the Humane Society shelter’s use.

PAWS is currently looking for more raffle items to include in the Silent Auction and U-Pic Raffles.  If you would like to donate, contact us at the e-mail address or telephone number below.  Contributions are tax deductible.

Tickets for the Chili Supper are $7 for adults and $4 for children under 12.  Advance tickets may be purchased at the Payson Public Library at 328 N. McLane, Rim Country Regional Chamber of Commerce at 100 W. Main St., and the Humane Society Thrift Store at 501-B W. Main St..  They may also be purchased at the door at the Elks Lodge the day of the event.

For more information, contact PAWS at pawsnpayson@gmail.com or call Julie Coleman at 928-951-4884.
