(Gazette Blog Editor's note: The following letter appeared in the April 10 edition of The Arizona Republic:)
Thanks to the recent U.S. Supreme Court ruling on campaign-finance laws, it is now OK for billionaires to buy every one of our politicians and control our country.
The Supreme Court has changed the governing concept of America from government "by the people" to government bought by billionaires.
Is this the America our Founding Fathers envisioned? They rebelled against the king. Would they allow us to be governed by present-day kingmakers?
