Gila Community College is offering BUS 143, Real Estate Fundamentals, taught by Cliff Potts.
This
9-week course will prepare students to take the State of AZ Real Estate
licensure test. The class meets Monday, Wednesday and Thursday
evenings from 5:30-8:40 pm beginning Sept. 10.
BUA
245, Legal Environment of Business is taught by Jo Ellen Vork. Ms.
Vork has been a lawyer since 2007, having studied at the Sandra Day
O’Conner College of Law. A General Practitioner, she has been working in
Payson for four years.
This class introduces the source and basic
principles of the law as it relates to business, including the U.S.
legal system, the Constitution, sources of the law, business ethics,
and studies a variety of applications of the law in contracts, torts,
agency and government regulation of business. This is a unique
opportunity to study BUA 245 with a practicing attorney in the classroom
setting.
