LETTERLETTERLETTER

Editor:
I commend you for putting the Social Security chain mail on the blog.
Social
Security has been misused by Congress since it inception. While I would
like to see people take responsibility for their own lives, it won't
happen, and in a country as wealthy and benevolent as ours, we will take
care of them when they don't do it themselves. So, accepting that fact,
forcing dollars to be put away for old age is wise, but letting the
government run a Ponzi scheme under the guise of helping is disgusting.
We need some statesmen who are not gonadically challenged and who
refuse to continue to play politics with this important issue, statesmen
who will tell the American people the truth, that this system is heading
for failure unless it is revised. The goal should be to find a way to
have people put dollars aside for old age with the best possible safe
return on their money.

On at least this issue, when are you running for President?
