Payson Aero Fair cancelled due to fires

Due to intensive firefighting activities this week at Payson Regional Airport, the Payson Aero Fair must be cancelled this year.  I’m sorry for the short notice but we had no idea how much equipment would be brought in for these serious fires around the state.  We have become the operations base for four different major fires and that must be the priority of the airport. 

"We have decided to stop trying to slay the fire dragon and will do future Aero Fair events in the early fall so this conflict won't occur again," Airport Coordinator Beth Myers said.
