to the “Democracy Spring” campaign, and the protesters who have been
rallying against the influence of money in politics, and congressional
inaction to reverse it. "More than 400 individuals have been arrested
for unlawful demonstration activity, and are being processed using mass
arrest procedures," the U.S. Capitol Police said in a statement. “Those
taken into custody will be charged with "crowding, obstructing and
incommoding."Nothing is more important than reversing the increasing concentration of income, wealth, and political power in the hands of a few – because nothing else is possible to achieve unless we get big money out of politics. Peaceful civil disobedience is a necessary tool in this epochal fight.
