Additional points:
Arizona is a pro-business state that is strong and growing. SB 1062 hurts our state's economy and could jeopardize our ability to attract and retain high quality businesses and employees.

The
Greater Phoenix Economic Council and the Arizona Hispanic Chamber of
Commerce have asked for a veto as well because, as business leaders,
they know the negative impact that this law would have on our community.
Arizona is a welcoming, diverse place where entrepreneurs both large and small come to find a free market that supports our American values. SB 1062 would make it more difficult for these businesses to grow and thrive, and would send a message to the country that Arizona is not Open for Business.
Finally, we encourage you to use #Bad4AZBiz on social media (Facebook, Twitter, etc) to help spread this message.

I appreciate the position that the Rimi Country Gazette is taking on this and will be following through on the suggested ways of expressing my views to Governor Brewer's office. Thanks for such a practical blog.

So it is discrimination if a business refuses to do business with someone because they don't agree with their beliefs but it is NOT discrimination if someone refuses to patronize a business with beliefs contrary to their own.
